The topic of this meeting will be “The Pending Resurrection of MIL-STD-882.”
There will be three guest speakers, Mr. Sherman Forbes, Mr. Jeff Walker, and Mr. Bob Smith.

Mr. Sherman Forbes is currently Deputy of the Engineering and Technical Management Division of the Directorate for Science, Technology, and Engineering, Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition (SAF/AQ) in Washington, DC.  In this capacity, Mr. Forbes is responsible for SAF/AQ Life Cycle Systems Engineering Integration and Systems Engineering Program Support Reviews.

Refreshments:
As always, a selection of food and beverages will be provided during the meeting.  In order to facilitate ordering food/beverages, please RSVP to Jennifer.Jenkins@urs.com by noon Monday, 19 September if you will be attending.

Parking and Office Security Notes:
1.    The visitor parking garage is located under the 1550 Crystal Drive office building.  Visitor parking is provided for free after 4PM.  The main garage entrance is off of Crystal Drive between 1550 Crystal Drive and 1750 Crystal Drive (look for the “1750 Crystal City Shops Visitor Parking” signs).  Once inside the visitor parking garage, attendees can enter the office building directly from the garage by proceeding to the 1550 Crystal Sq (Crystal Sq 2) elevator lobby.

2.    All attendees are required to sign in at the 11th floor Booz Allen Hamilton receptionist desk to receive a visitor’s badge.  The Booz Allen Hamilton Point of Contact for this meeting is Mr. Bob Smith.

3.    The elevators operate in a secured mode and require an elevator key to access any floors above the main lobby level after 6PM.  Attendees should plan to arrive to the Booz Allen Hamilton office before 6PM to avoid this issue.  If attendees arrive after 6PM, they will need to contact Mr. Smith at 703-412-7700 or 703-577-5610 in order to get an escort from the elevator lobby to the 11th floor.
