Read Warren Naylor's Biography
System Safety Engineering (SSE) and the International System Safety Society (ISSS) are at a transitional moment.  As President I will ensure the ISSS leads the system safety community (Government(s) and industry) through this transition and into the future.

Society issues that urgently need attention and leadership include:
· Operating within a balanced budget,
· The growing costs of Conferences,
· Developing alternate revenue streams,
· Empowering local chapters using the DC Chapter’s re-emergence
  as the model
· Grow the International focus and objectives,
· Grow closure to other societies and implement some of their
   successful processes, objectives, and methods,
· Grow the society with a stretch goal of 25% during this term of office stressing society value to the
   membership,
· Strengthen Government, industry, and academia  cooperation to the mutual benefit of all,
· Develop a strategic plan and goals,
· Enhancing training opportunities within the society, and
· Finally, make the office of President accessible to all with an open mind and a willingness to listen.
